Marketing done right is an act of service

A woman with blonde curly hair happy and laughing while sitting inside a colorful, decorated space with pink, purple, and rainbow decorations. She is holding a hookah and has one leg crossed over the other, wearing green pants, white sneakers, and a striped jacket. There is a black and white backpack on the floor beside her.

Hi, I’m Eleanor

I’m a self-taught marketer who believes good marketing helps people; it’s about direction not persuasion.

  • Marketing that respects people works better long-term.

I'm not interested in tactics that rely on someone not having all the information, there's a line between persuasion and manipulation.

  • Too often, each piece of marketing - socials, email, your website - gets its own strategy and exists in its own bubble. I think the best marketing connects them, because that's how you build something people actually want to be part of, not just scroll past.

  • Currently studying at Studio Hawk’s Hawk Academy and genuinely obsessed. SEO is the long game, slow to build, but it keeps working even when you're not. That's the kind of marketing I can get behind.

  • Email is still one of the most direct, personal ways to reach someone, and one of the most underrated. Done well, it doesn't feel like marketing at all. It just feels like a grea letter.

  • I studied philosophy, history, and literature before marketing.

I think in systems, over-research for fun, and own more books than I have shelf space for…. It's a whole thing.
